Sam Taylor-Wood

I recently got introduced to the work of Sam Taylor-Wood and I was an instant fan. Her work is definitely worth checking out.  In addition to photography, she also makes artsy and experimental films – including a famous film of David Beckham sleeping.  Here are some of my favourite works by her. I especially like them because they are self-portraits and look like they require a lot of skill to produce.

Great post! Her work is such a unique take on portrait photography. I especially love the shadows cast on the wall in the ‘Bram Stoker’s Chair’ series. The White Cube always seems to exhibit more work than one can keep up with — now I’ll definitely check out some of her films as well.
