Bill Gates @ TED

The TED conference finished last week. I’ve only had the opportunity to listen to few talks, but the ones I heard were stellar! I particularly loved this one by Bill Gates. He actually released mosquitoes into the audience – brilliant. Gates tells us a few home truths about malaria. Poor people shouldn’t be the only ones to experience it! Malaria has been eradicated in many parts of the world and it can be eradicated in Africa too. What we need is the political will, so it becomes a global priority aas well as financing for bed nets and treatments. I also think he nails it in regard to education and how vital that is in a world and economy like ours. Enjoy.
