The folks over at charity: water don’t seem to stop. I love them – their work is so great and they work so hard. Here is their latest event, it’s a photography exhibition at the Chelsea Market, NYC. The exhibition runs from March 10th to May 31st. Be sure to check it out if you are in New York. If you are available tomorrow night you should attend the opening reception. Tickets are $20 advance ($40 on the door!) You can buy your tickets here. It looks like it’s going to be a stellar night.
Unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease, killing more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. We invite you to learn about the people affected by this global water crisis, and the sustainable freshwater solutions being used to save millions of lives each day.
As viewers learn about the global water issue, they’ll have a chance to donate by throwing change into a custom-built wishing well. 100% of the donations will fund the construction of freshwater wells in developing nations.
WHEN: Tuesday, March 10th. 9:00 P.M. – Midnight.
WHERE: 75 9th Avenue, NYC. (between 15th & 16th Streets.)
WHAT: A cocktail reception to launch the 3-month-long charity: water photographic exhibition at Chelsea Market.
100% of your ticket price will directly fund freshwater solutions in developing nations.
Music by The Kin, Rob Murat and others. Cocktails by Alex Ott.
