Banksy is an anonymous graffiti/ street artist, who often does interesting art installations and projects. Last Fall he showed an installation in the West Village, New York. I’m not entirely sure what it all meant or what he was trying to say, but it was very cool. The installation was called ‘The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill’. It was so well done, that even the people running it were actors who wouldn’t break out of their role as ‘pet shop keepers’. All parts of the installation were very thought-provoking and little wierd too. I’ve included some videos and photos below.
When I first saw this leopard from outside the pet shop I actually thought it was real and at New York had pretty strange pets shops. It was only until later that I found out it was a Banksy installation.
