Elizabeth Gilbert @ TED

Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman’s Search for Everything, talks about ‘a different way to think about creative genius’. The talk is very inspirational, little bit out there, but definitely provokes thought. She describes the creativity and the history of how people used to think about it. She explains how the creative process can feel divine and supernatural at times. Most importantly. she gives insights to how we can relate to creativity without losing our minds. She said a few things that stuck with me. Firstly, she said that we are all glimpses of God! And that it’s our job to keep showing up and not let the creative process become too oppressive. Wise words.

I am going to order Eat, Pray, Love from Amazon now. Will tell you what I think about the book.
