The MeatMarket

Hey everyone! It’s been a long time I know. I am sorry. I’ve been organising a photography exhibition and charity event. It’s kind of taken over my life, but it has been well worth it. Human trafficking is the great injustice of our time. There are more people enslaved today than at any other time in history. By 2010 to human trafficking will be number 1 organised crime in the world. We wanted to do something about it. We won’t solve the issue on one night, through one event, but we want to create awareness on the issue.

On the 30th of April (this Thursday),  we will be hosting a charity event at raises money for 3 organisations that are working to end human trafficking. We are supporting Not For Sale DK, The A21 Campaign and Reden International. We asked 10 young up-and-coming photographers to interpret the topic of ‘Human Injustice’. It is shaping up to be a fantastic event. Not only do we have great DJs – Ladybox, Copyfokking, Trolle&Rosenstand, Zzzune (DØD), but some great companies have agreed to sponsor The MeatMarket lottery. On the night you will be able to win prizes from Tivoli, Monies, Diesel, BLLACK NOIR, Ørgreen, Weleda, Normann and many more. It’ll be a great night of awareness, photography, good music and good people. If you are in Copenhagen, please stop by.
